Who will be able to access it and what do you think they'll learn from it ?

The idea is for other students to be able to access and look at it. For people from other grades to look at it and see what the grade level above them is doing. In my teaching, I use models of student work. This is an extension of that. If you can see a model of an assignment, you can see its possibilities, and maybe be able to make it reach new heights. The rest of the response has to do something with students but it's mostly for teachers.

For teachers an electronic portfolio will feed the knowledge that we have of a student's abilities. Instead of just looking at a standardized test score, we can see a writing example showing exactly where a student needs work. This will help English teachers focus on specific areas needing work.
